"I have but one desire as a painter - that is to paint what I see, as I see it, in my own way, without regard for the desires or taste of the professional dealer or the professional collector."
- Georgia O'Keefe

Lee Celeste is the brains and spirit behind Frohemian Goddess, who lives and works in Richmond, Virginia. She has works in various media genres including painting, jewelry-making, and book writing. Lee examines femininity, strength, and consciousness through her own artistic perspective and perception. Her artistic style is soulful, polychromatic, and abstract; with paintings that are influenced by images and stories of black femininity, dynamism and are often filled with a balance of chaos and grace. Her guided journals and booklets center on the empowerment of the modern Woman in both aesthetics and content. Lee initially discovered her passion for art as a child when created a portrait for her sister as a surprise graduation gift. Throughout her youth, Lee was awarded many accolades celebrating her artistic talents. Her creative aptitude led her to a Fashion Design degree from Wade College, and later a BFA in Studio Art from Dallas Baptist University.
Lee explored many different college majors and career paths over the years trying to figure out who she is and her true passion and purpose in life. Since then, her brand and artistic journey have expanded from original paintings to one-of-a-kind jewelry, guided journals, planners, and more. Over the years, all of the perceived failures, years of exploring and learning herself, have all been preparation for her lifestyle as an Artist, Author and Creator.
